The very first thing to remember about healing is that you can only heal what you want to feel. We are in a world where denial is part of the process of living, where we are glorified for being tough and hiding what we really feel. This is where the problem lies. So primarily you have to be willing to dig up the sadness, the hurt and the pain in order to address it. A lot of times, dis-eases are results of mental thought patterns that shape our experiences.

·        Think positive thoughts about yourself. You have a choice of thinking well of yourself or unwell. Why choose the latter when positive thinking can enhance your mind and spirit right?
·        Go deep within yourself and visualize yourself already healed, this will give the mind and body a sense of completeness.
·        Studies show that meditation boosts your immune system because during meditation the body goes to the relaxed , Alpha state and when that happens the immune system is maximized, that is when the parasympathetic nervous system kicks in too.

·        Worrying is part and parcel of life as the world has taught you to do that, for worry paradoxically equates to “caring”. Here is a healthy way of working out your worry. Don’t deny it, but also don’t dwell on it. Look at it and let it pass through you, become a witness and not a participant to your worries.

·        Love yourself.  Many of you do not know how to love yourself. Here is an easy way. Think of the person you love most in your life. How do you look at the person? How do you see her/him? How do you feel towards that person? What would you do for her/him? Now turn that towards you. Love yourself.
