This morning I was making pancakes for my daughter and she accidently hit the youtube channel to Whitney Housten’s “When you believe”.
The lyrics moved me and I thought I would share this belief system conditioning by society and how to navigate through the labyrinth of what the society at large has made you think about yourself.
Belief is “the” foundation of your thoughts, thoughts are creative and the crux of it is that, whatever you believe in the depths of your consciousness is coming true right now. So if you believe in greatness, then greatness is happening to you, if you believe in pain and suffering that too is happening to you. Belief, goes both ways, negative or positive. What are you believing in? and what is coming true for you right now? Think deep.
Where ever you are right now, happy, sad, angry, frustrated, poor, rich – these are simply circumstances that are temporary and can be changed if the underlying belief structure is amended.

3 steps on how to believe:
1. Self belief is vital in the process of believing in life and its myriad patterns. Limiting ideas of self, created and furnished by society is the penalty that you have been paying by default. Do you want to live defaulted by other people’s belief? Start right now, by doing/feeling something that you have denied yourself because you were conditioned to belief otherwise. Once again, everything is “BELIEF”.
2. Self Talk is one of the strongest belief vehicle. You have approximately 70,000 thoughts per day. Most of which are conversations you are having with yourself about the past or the future. Today, I invite you to observe how you are talking to yourself. Are you saying “ you will never get out of this mess” “ this is tough” “I cannot relax?” “I am no good” “ I am sick and no one can help me” all dialogues you heard when you were growing up perhaps or ones that you developed over the years yourself?
3. Reverse the negative self talk to something neutral ( if positive is too far a reach for some) , change “I am no good “ to “ Little by little I am learning to feel good about myself”. Or, for the ones who can take the leap to absolute positive ,then “I am great and I love myself”.This may take a while in the conscious realm to manifest but keep at it. You will be surprised.
